Pre-workshop Set-up

Install QGIS if not already installed.
Download[ADD LINK TO DATA FOLDER] and upzip the data folder for the lesson. Save the upzipped folder on your Desktop. Make sure the folder is named intro-remote-sensing-data.

Objectives

Brief description, list lesson objectives.

Data Collection

Review how remote sensing data is collected.

Briefly mention difference between passive and active. Note that we will be going over passive RS in later workshops and will focus on optical imagery for this workshop.
